The Kiwanis Club of Hidden Valley - Escondido is one local community service club within Kiwanis International - - "a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one community and one child at a time."

The of Hidden Valley Kiwanis Club Foundation, a California non-profit 501c3 public benefit corporation (Tax ID# 27-0374327). The Hidden Valley Kiwanis Club (501c4) and Hidden Valley Kiwanis Club Foundation (501c3) has always enjoyed a great partnership with the North County business community. Your decision to participate in any of our events as a Sponsor, Vendor, Prize Donor or Angler will help to make our goals a reality.

Since 1963, the Kiwanis Club of Hidden Valley - Escondido has performed many community service projects in Escondido and San  Diego County to serve the needs of children and families. Whether it is answering phones at the annual Radiothon for Rady Children's Hospital; or teaching young children to fish at our Annual Fishing Derby at Lake Dixon; or honoring fallen servicemen through our Operation Hero program; or working with our KEY Clubs at San Pasquale High School; Escondido Charter High School and San Pasquale Academy - - the members of our club desire to "give back" to the Escondido community and make it a better place to live.

Quarterly, we honor an injured service man or woman with our Operation Hero Program - thanking them for their service to our country.  In addition we regularly send "Thank you package for our Troops" in recognition for their great service.

Hidden Valley Kiwanis and Kiwanis International, teamed with UNICEF is committed to eliminating Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus throughout the world, one child, one nation at a time.  Our Goal is protect and save over 61 Million women and their future newborns from this devastating infection and pave the way for future health interventions that will boost maternal health and child survival.  Currently 1 baby dies every 9 minutes from Tetanus.  Less than $2 can save a Mother and all her future children.  To date Kiwanis and UNICEF have eliminated Tetanus in over 30 countries since 2000 - and the work is not finished.

We welcome ALL community members to our meetings and projects.

Please join us in raising funds for the Children supported by Hidden Valley Kiwanis. HV Kiwanis will be hosting a BBQ the First Saturday Evening of each month at the Escondido Fish and Game Rifle Club at the east end of Lake Wolford from 5:30PM through 8:30PM (See http://www.escondidofishandgame.com/ for more details - directions under "Contact Us") All proceeds go directly to supporting your Children and our hero’s.
