Quarterly, we honor an injured service man or woman with our Operation Hero Program - thanking them for their service to our country. In addition we regularly send "Thank you package for our Troops" in recognition for their great service.
Hidden Valley Kiwanis and Kiwanis International, teamed with UNICEF is committed to eliminating Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus throughout the world, one child, one nation at a time. Our Goal is protect and save over 61 Million women and their future newborns from this devastating infection and pave the way for future health interventions that will boost maternal health and child survival. Currently 1 baby dies every 9 minutes from Tetanus. Less than $2 can save a Mother and all her future children. To date Kiwanis and UNICEF have eliminated Tetanus in over 30 countries since 2000 - and the work is not finished.
